		<description>In Beijing recently I have seen an &#039;art&#039; kindergarten, an &#039;art&#039; new housing estate and what I was told was an 
art&#039; polo club near Caochangdi! The term &#039;art&#039; as a marketing device or brand suggestive of the contemporary and the global reminds me of the old 1960s &#039;The international passport to smoking pleasure&#039; cigarette ads of the days of our own Australian cultural cringe.</description>
